It’s not everyday that we see a massive release like this, but today AMD announced that they will be adding a total of 13, yes, thirteen, APUs to their A-Series APU lineup. Among these thirteen APUs we have 5 on the desktop side with the two of them unlocked (the A8-3870K and A6-3670K) and a total of [...]

When AMD launched their 900-series chipsets earlier this year, hardware enthusiasts were largely disappointed in what it brought to the table over the previous 800-series. Well, in early 2012 it is looking more and more likely that AMD will be rolling out new chipsets, namely the 1090FX and 1070 (we wouldn’t be surprised if a 1090X fell [...]

According to a post by the folks over at Donanim Haber earlier today, AMD is finally set to launch, after a number of delays, their FX-Series Bulldozer CPUs. At an event in Austin, Texas a couple of weeks ago, overclockers managed to take one of AMD’s upcoming FX-Series CPUs, thought to be the FX-8150, to a record-breaking 8.429GHz by using liquid nitrogen followed by near-absolute zero and very rare liquid helium. Very impressive! If you would rather hear about practical overclocking, the overclockers [...]
