In the last 6 months Sapphire has returned to the motherboard arena with a whole slew of motherboards for both Intel and AMD platforms. Today we have their enthusiast offering for those jumping on board of the Intel Sandy Bridge-E platform with the LGA 2011 socket and X79 chipset – the PURE Black X79N.

Earlier today, motherboard manufacturer, Sapphire Technology, announced the launch of their first AM3+ motherboard, the Pure Black 990FX. Back in May we took a look at an early version of a Sapphire 990FX motherboard, the Pure Black 990FX-N, which may or may not have been an early version of this motherboard.

Here we go with another AMD “Llano” motherboard for your viewing pleasure. This time, the folks over at Tech Power Up have posted an image of Sapphire’s upcoming Pure Platinum A75 motherboard, which uses the AMD FM1 socket. This board has a couple of very interesting features that make this a very impressive “Llano” motherboard.
